Our annual celebration honoring America's Independence is a win for the whole family! Spend the afternoon at Osawatomie City Lake with fun activities, including all-ages bounce equipment, face painters, balloon artists, and more. The perfect summer Saturday, the lakeside party also includes a variety of food trucks and hours of music.  The night isn't over until the last BOOM of our famous fireworks spectacular!   This is a FREE event, with donations accepted at the gates.


Lights on the Lake is a family-friendly event on June 29, 2024, at Osawatomie City Lake.   This event is FREE, with donations accepted at the gates.  This event includes live music, face painting, a balloon artist, bounce equipment, and our annual Firework Spectacular!  Gates will open at 5 p.m.  Live entertainment featuring Tanner Foulk, The Steve Miller Experience, and The John Cougar Project will start at approximately 6 p.m.  Other activities will vary, but most will be from 3 pm to 9 pm, and we will end our evening with our Fireworks Spectacular Pyro Musical at 10 pm.  Absolutely; no trailers, campers, or RVs are permitted.  Seating is open and is first come, first serve.  Space limitations prohibit pop-up canopies, tents, and umbrellas in the main event area.  Please bring lawn chairs or a blanket, sunscreen, and bug spray.  Coolers are welcome, but various food vendors will have their offerings available to purchase.  Inside, you may be filmed or photographed for marketing purposes.  For the safety of our artists, please do not use flash photography.  There will be low light levels in the evening; please be aware of others and your surroundings.
